- I've been making jewelry for six years. I started out by doing simple string from kits. I soon became bored with this type of jewelry making and began looking at different ways to challenge myself and enhance my jewelry. I started designing my own jewelry and creating different pieces using as many differeny materials as I could find. This was much more fun but I still wanted something more. I soon found that I loved working with wire. I took several classes from wire artists Janice Berkebile and Tracy Stanley. My skill and love of wired art really began to grow. Now I create my own designs using wire, natural stones and beads, swarovski crystals, sterling silver and fair trade beads from Tibet and Nepal together with sterling chains or leather.
